ABOUT US
Snape Contracting undertakes construction and buildings maintenance projects. We operate in the public and private sector and primarily work on social housing, education, commercial, heritage and leisure projects.

We operate across much of the South West, including Avon, Devon, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.
Project types include new build, refurbishment, planned maintenance and 24hr emergency response building repairs. Snape Contracting delivers services through term contracts, framework contracts and JCT Minor Works Building Contracts.

SECTORS
​
We are particularly active in a range of sectors, however, the majority of our work broadly falls into the following sectors. We consider works in other sectors after careful consideration of the transferable skills and experience we have.
Social Housing
We undertake a wide range of works for social housing clients including voids, buildings maintenance (planned & cyclical), disabled adaptations, kitchen & bathroom renewals and general works. Works are delivered through framework contracts and individually tendered works.
Education
We deliver new build works, extensions, renovations and improvements for schools, colleges and universities. Most of our works are delivered in 'live' environments. We have delivered a wide range of projects from repairs and maintenance through the the new build of complete school classrooms and communal areas.
Commercial
We also complete works for commercial clients, including refurbishment, remodeling, extension and new build. We are experienced in the delivery of works to heritage and Listed buildings. We are currently delivering a large project for Safran near Gloucestershire Airport.
Listed Buildings & Heritage
We undertake works to Grade I and Grade II Listed buildings. These works include repair and refurbishment and are delivered by our own teams and specialist subcontractors.
Retail & Leisure
We undertake work in retail and leisure settings. These works are often undertaken in 'live' environments and include shops, gyms and public spaces.
PROJECTS
We are only as good as our last project and each and every project we deliver benefits from the stewardship of an experienced team comprising a Contracts Director, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, skilled operatives and support staff.
